Option A: 1 day
1. Hit the Bullseye 200 Literacy Centers in Spanish and English Site License Correlated to TAKS, TEKS, and specific reading areas
- 1 cd
- 1 complete set of literacy centers
- Rights to copy 1 cd per person per site

2. 1 Inservice day as follows:
- a. Train teachers all day using data to drive specific instruction for students
- b. Work with 2 sets of 30 students (1 set per period) demonstrating those TAKS areas teachers want demonstrated according to data

Option B: 1 day
Additional day of classroom demonstrations (lessons determined by specific student needs and teacher input)

Option C: 1 day
Additional day of classroom demonstrations (lessons determined by specific student needs and teacher input)

Target Audience:
6-8 Reading Teachers

Program Description:
Option A:
Teachers will be training in those specific areas where students need extra help in low TAKS areas. Teachers will be provided with a cd that has 200 reading strategies in Spanish and English to use daily with the students in the classroom, tutoring, homework, etc. These lessons include critical thinking lessons, comprehension lessons, and vocabulary lessons.

Two periods of the day will be dedicated to demonstration teaching. Teachers will watch as the consultant works with students. The lessons chosen to be demonstrated will be determined by the teachers for specific student needs.

Teachers will have time to determine which strategies are most suitable for students.

Option B: Additional demonstration teaching (8 per day). Specific students will be targeted for demonstrations. The consultant will go into the teacher’s classroom to teach the students. Data, along with teacher input, will determine which reading strategies will be demonstrated.

Option C: Repeat of Option B
